Does Your Employee Handbook Need to be Revised?

Do you have new policies to add to your Employee Handbook?

Due to the pandemic, have you changed the way you do business? Have you changed how your employees perform their work? Are the policy changes temporary or permanent?  A memo to employees can be used to convey Temporary policies.  Whereas, permanent policy changes should be added to your Handbook.  For example, a telework policy.  It depends on whether you plan to continue to allow employees to telework. Change can be difficult.  However, it is important to convey those changes to your employees.  Clear policies will result in better compliance and enforceability.

Consider whether you need to revise your Employee Handbook and/or other policies such as your Safety Policy.
